Banana Feet Print
Banana Feet Print
Billy Connolly is known for many, many things. He is the quintessential Scottish legend. He has cultivated a look that you could recognise with your eyes closed.
For his 1975 comedy tour, Billy tasked pop artist, Edmund Smith, to make a pair of size nine bananas. Having made the first one, Smith remarked that the second wouldn't be identical 'as bananas never are' and she added the Fyffes label to the banana. (A brand that also originated in Scotland)
Our design takes homage to the pop art background taking inspiration from the works of Andy Warhol (not Scottish)
Everyone should have a pair of banana feet on their wall.
